As industry experts, we know everything there is to know about chimney systems and how to keep them well-ventilated and working as intended. If you choose to work with us for your chimney cap installation, we’ll explain every step of the process and why it’s necessary so that you can build up your knowledge base, too.

Whether we’re designing custom chimney caps, diagnosing a problem with your current ventilation system, or providing repairs, our certified chimney sweeps will provide full transparency. Every flue should have a chimney cap. These essential structures provide protection against the elements, falling objects, and animal intrusions, all of which can cause damage to your chimney’s interior.

We offer a variety of chimney caps to make it easy for you to choose one that will meet your functional and aesthetic requirements. We have stainless steel and copper models, and our chimney caps can be powder-coated for extra protection and improved curb appeal. We also offer both single and multi-flue caps and have the capability to manufacture custom solutions depending on your unique needs. Damper Replacements

Have you noticed hot or cold air drafts coming from your fireplace? Chances are, you need a new top-mount damper system. Our top-mount dampers create airtight seals that reduce airflow through the chimney to increase your family’s comfort and reduce your household’s energy bills.

Benefits of Chimney Dampers
Installing a new top-mount chimney damper comes with multiple worthwhile benefits. They include:
  • Sealing in the heated or air-conditioned air
  • Keeping out birds, animals, insects, and leaves
  • Easy accessibility to the handle for opening and closing the damper
  • Durable stainless steel construction
  • A lifetime warranty

Our Custom Multi-Flue Chimney Caps

Our multi-flue chimney caps offer a convenient and aesthetically pleasing alternative to installing individual caps for each chimney flue. They’re perfect for closely-spaced flue extensions that make installing individual caps difficult or impossible. Take a look at the part of the flue coming out of the top of each chimney. If they’re close together, a multi-flue cap is your best solution.

Each of our custom multi-flue caps is made from durable stainless steel and attached solidly to the top of your crown. We custom-fabricate all of our multi-flue caps to offer a perfect fit that will resolve issues with cramped caps and provide an extended drip edge to improve shielding for your crown. The removable cover will keep the rain off your crown to extend its longevity and allow easy removal for chimney cleaning and repairs.

Hip and Ridge Multi-Flue Chimney Caps

Hip and ridge multi-flue caps offer all the same functional benefits as our basic models. However, they also provide an elegant design upgrade that will improve your building’s curb appeal.

It’s common to see hip and ridge multi-flue caps on classic brick or stone chimneys. We can also install them on modern chase structures. As with all of our custom chimney caps, our hip and ridge multi-flue models are custom-fabricated to your specifications.

We can create chimney caps from a range of materials, including copper and stainless steel. We don’t just offer a range of material options, though. We can also powder coat the metal to match the color of your building’s exterior trim or to provide a unique visual focal point in your outdoor landscape.

Why Every Chimney Should Have a Chimney Cap

Also known as rain caps, chimney caps are essential functional and decorative structures that belong on the top of every chimney.

Our custom chimney caps don’t just add aesthetic appeal to your home, although they’re certainly eye-catching. They also serve a variety of essential functional purposes.
Chimney Rain Cap

Keep Out the Rain

A chimney cap will stop rainwater from getting inside your chimney liner. Given that water is one of the worst enemies of modern building materials, any amount of rainwater infiltration should be considered a serious problem. If you have a chimney cap, the rainwater won’t be able to get into the top of your chimney to cause deterioration. Instead, it will run down the sides and infiltrate safely into the ground.

Prevent Critter Intrusions

Our chimney caps won’t just keep out the rain. They’ll also prevent birds, squirrels, and other nuisance animals from gaining access to your chimney. Leaving your chimney uncovered sends an open invitation to critters because they love to build nests in these protected spaces during the off-season. If you don’t have a way to keep them at bay, they’ll take up residence and, eventually, start to infiltrate into your home.

Increase Draft

Chimney caps don’t just stop rainwater and critters from getting into your flue. They also help to ensure that the air can get out. Maintaining a proper draft is critical to ensuring that your chimney functions as intended. Without it, you’ll wind up dealing with smoke blowback into your home and all kinds of unpleasant odors. Installing a chimney cap can help to increase draft, ensuring that all the smoke and gases produced by your woodstove, fireplace, or gas-burning appliance can exit the home safely.

Prevent Deterioration

Without a weatherproof chimney cap, rain, snow, leaf debris, and critters will all wind up in your fireplace, woodstove, or appliances. Over time, these factors will speed up the deterioration of mortar, stone, and other vital building components.
Since our chimney caps are all made from durable, weatherproof materials, they’ll offer a whole new level of protection against crumbling mortar, wet ash, and critter damage, saving you a ton of money on unnecessary repairs.
